Sharing

When I was still a little girl I was never really fond about the idea of sharing especially my sweets. I always wanted the most of everything and I wanted to play with the other kids' toys as long as they do not play with my toys. As a child this was very selfish of me but as I grew older I was taught that sharing is a way of connecting. Whatever it is that you may be sharing, there is a connection. The connection can be psychological, emotional or physical.

The word of God talks about sharing in 2 Cor 9:7-12 - Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, wnot reluctantly or under compulsion, for xGod loves a cheerful giver. 8 And yGod is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency5 in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,
z“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies aseed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and bincrease the harvest of your righteousness. 11 cYou will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which dthrough us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying ethe needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God (Available Online from:  http://biblia.com/bible/esv/2Co9.7-12 ).

In many cases I am still like the little girl who does not want to share her sweets or her toys but I share anyway because it is the right thing to do but am I doing it with a cheerful heart? In some cases I do share with a cheerful heart and other times - I don't, especially when it is Frozen Yogurt. I will gladly buy someone their own cup of frozen yogurt but see, now I'm sharing my money - gladly.
My view about sharing depends on the kind of person you are. Some people will share their plate of food and some will share their money but they might not want to share their car or their room. We all share something in our own way - but the question remains: Are we sharing with a cheerful heart?

My opinion about giving with a cheerful heart is that it is the core element of sharing that makes that connection between you and someone else so much stronger and so much warmer. We are put on this earth to live together but we often forget that being put on earth together, we were made for each other, we were made to connect with one another (Mother Teresa - quote available online from: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/sharing ). Living this life means sharing it with others. We might as well do it cheerfully and give with a smile.

So share your food with someone other than the dog. Share your time with loved ones. Share a hug, a kiss. Share the love. Share the joy of life.
Share THE LIFE  V !!!
