Jesus answers over a spot of tea
So in my previous post I was telling you about my tea date
with Jesus and how I had a real honest conversation with Him on suffering, going through trials and tribulations and how it’s painful...

I also kept you guessing in not telling you the whole answer straight away so in this post, I get to share the rest of the wonderful answer with you. This answer showed to me though the Holy Spirit now helps me to have courage. If you are like me and you are more of a visual person, then maybe this will help you as well.
So while I had this conversation with Jesus, He also answered me through His Spirit by showing me the following over a spot of tea:
I saw a sword. The sword was mighty, shiny, strong and was
able to win battles but the sword has to stay sharp and therefore it was being
honed – You are the sword.
Whaaaaaaat? I didn’t quite know what to make of it and felt a little confused and so I asked the Holy
Spirit to please give me a revelation on what I saw, and then I started to
smile…
The sword is already molded or rather forged. It already went through the
fire and forging process. It already got hammered into shape. It doesn’t need to be
reshaped BUT its needs to stay sharp and therefore the sword gets honed through the Word.
You go through many battles and you will win because victory is already yours (But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Cor 15:57), but you need to make sure you keep the sword and keep your mind sharp for the battle by spending time in the word and in the spirit (which is also a weapon – The sword of the spirit which is the word of God). If you don’t, the sword will become blunt and every battle might become harder and harder but if you spend time in the word, sharpening your mind and focusing on God, you will be able to fight with the word, courageously taking what is already yours through Christ Jesus – VICTORY!

How WONDERFUL is this. I now keep on reminding myself that I am a sword that can be wielded in battle but I need to stay sharp on the Word of God. As I mentioned, I am a visual person so I went and searched for an image of a sword and added my name to it along with the words - Mighty Woman of Valour to serve as a reminder that I am already victorious. You can do the same and add whatever is fitting for you to keep you motivated in the midst of suffering... it can be anything e.g. The Warrior, Conqueror, Victorious etc.
After this lovely tea date, I decided that it will be
something I do more and more. Like I’m meeting up with a friend and since Jesus
is my friend, I would love to have more tea dates with Him.
Thanks for reading. If you would like, I encourage you to
also have some tea with Jesus. Be sure to give Him time to respond and become still as you listen. What is He sharing with you over a cup of tea?
Be blessed,
T. xxx
