Jesus has risen

Jesus defeated death by rising up after three days. This is marked as the final day of Easter. Final... the word bothers me. Final usually marks the end of something or the completion of something. Jesus' death made us new and therefore it is the beginning of new life. What does the word of God say? Matthew 28:1-10 (NIV) Jesus Has Risen 28 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly

Lays Lightly Salted...   I remember my post about "Sharing" and "Forgiveness". Sharing connects you to someone else on an emotional, intellectual , physical or spiritual way. Forgiveness is a journey of healing and finding freedom. So I'm of the opinion that "Speaking" gives you both. Saying what you need to say can cleanse you in whatever way it may be. Matthews 5:13-16 (ESV) Salt and Light 13 “You are the salt of the earth, k but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. 14 l “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 m Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so n that 2 they may see your good works and o give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
